Halloween 2010

We're not big on "celebrating" Halloween, but I see no harm in carving a pumpkin or dressing up to get some candy. Elly's at such a fun age and holidays really do take on a new meaning when you can see the excitement through their eyes. A few days before Halloween we carved the pumpkin. Elly wasn't too excited about helping to get the seeds out. She would rather not get her hands in that slimy mess. She did enjoy watching Daddy carve the pumkin though.

Halloween is not something that is celebrated in Germany. I think they have an "All Saints Day" on November 1st, but it's not the same. Anyhow, since there is no "trick or treating" in the towns, we met up with a friend on Patch and went to a few houses out there. Elly was not really into it and she doesn't eat candy anyhow, so we didn't stay for very long.

What a happy little girl we have!

Eva and Lizzy (the dog) were lions :)

Elly rode on Daddy's shoulders most of the evening

I thought this was so cute :)

Almost done....

Elly's heading home, with or without us...

By the time we got home, Elly was over being a kitty
